At Alvèa Australis, our story began with love, necessity, and a deep respect for nature. When our daughter was born, she struggled with painful eczema and sensitive skin. We tried countless products, but nothing seemed to truly help. Out of desperation, we turned to what we knew best — the healing power of nature — and began experimenting with raw honey, beeswax, and nourishing natural oils.
What started as a remedy for our little girl became the first balm we ever created, and to our amazement, it brought real relief. Over time, her skin healed and her comfort returned. Encouraged by this, we began sharing our balms with friends, family, and eventually the wider community — and the feedback was extraordinary. Today, our products have gone on to help many others living with eczema, psoriasis, nappy rash, and other challenging skin conditions.
We are a small Australian family business, proudly handcrafting each product in small batches. Many of our products feature our own raw honey and beeswax, carefully blended with natural oils and botanicals. But not all of our products contain bee-derived ingredients — because we believe in providing a variety of natural solutions that can benefit everyone, no matter their skin type or preference.
Our name, Alvèa Australis, is inspired by the hive — a symbol of community, resilience, and the incredible work of bees. We value and work closely with our bees, honouring their role in nature, while also crafting products that offer relief, care, and nourishment for people in all stages of life.
